Ingredients :

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon kosher salt

3 cups stale bread cubes

3 large eggs, beaten

1 cup whole milk

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, at room temperature

Directions :

1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in the bread cubes to thoroughly coat them.
2. Spread butter on the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the bread mixture evenly in the baking dish.
3. Place the baking dish in Rack Position 2, select Roast, set the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius), and set the timer for 12 minutes.
4. After approximately 10 minutes, remove the dish from the pan and inspect it. The top of the casserole
should be browned, while the center should be just set. If additional time is required, place the pan back in the oven and continue cooking.
5. When cooking is finished, serve food warm.
