Ingredients :

Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

1 medium egg

¹⁄₃ cup beer

½ cup flour, divided

1 tablespoon curry powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger

12 prawns, cleaned and deveined

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon cumin powder

1 cup flaked coconut

Directions :

1. In a large bowl, thoroughly coat the shrimp with the lemon juice, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Set
aside.
2. Whisk together the egg, beer, 1/4 cup of flour, curry powder, baking powder, and ginger in a shallow
bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, place the remaining 14 cup of flour, and on a plate, place the coconut flakes.
4. Coat the shrimp thoroughly with coconut flakes by dredging them in flour, then egg, and then coconut
flakes. Place the shrimp on a baking sheet.
5. Place the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide it into Rack Position 2. Select Air Fry, set the
temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius), and set the timer for 8 minutes.
6. After five minutes, remove the shrimp from the oven and flip them. Return to the oven and cook for an additional three minutes.
7. Upon completion of cooking, remove from oven and serve warm.
